These are difficult times. Whether we are dealing with our own health or that of our families and friends, grief, isolation, financial uncertainty, or stress, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected us all. It is easy to become pessimistic. By our nature, eTrueNorth is an optimistic company.
Our mission is to “fit healthcare into everyday life.” We do this by helping local pharmacies provide healthcare services in their neighborhoods. By enabling local pharmacies to perform CLIA-waived testing to identify undiagnosed conditions or better manage chronic diseases, cholesterol or A1C testing, we fulfill our mission to position local pharmacies as a key participant in the healthcare delivery model.
In today’s world, this means we expand our reach. We are working in conjunction with HHS, local municipalities and more importantly, local pharmacies to provide COVID-19 testing in the safest and most convenient manner possible. We began our journey in a most non-traditional way. We deployed our infrastructure to enable drive-through COVID-19 testing sites in parking lots of local pharmacies. After starting with one site in Joliet, Ill. we are expanding to many others across the country tomorrow and beyond. We know this public-private partnership will increase the availability of testing for local communities. Hopefully, we can be positive change agents.
At eTrueNorth, we salute all the healthcare providers working on the front lines. We’re especially proud of local pharmacists who are committed to continuing to work and provide much-needed health services to all those in need.
We are all in this together. With the assistance and support of pharmacy chains and HHS, we stand ready to do our part to make a difference in the lives of those affected by COVID-19.
By leveraging the accessibility of retail pharmacies, eTrueNorth expands the scope of services provided to consumers to be more effective and higher quality and, at the same time, enhance the pharmacy’s value as a key participant in a multidisciplinary health care delivery model. Let’s talk about how we can partner together to improve healthcare.
